Both start from the same plant-based soap base, but foaming soap is diluted to a lower concentration and dispensed through a foaming pump that aerates it into a light, ready-to-use lather. Liquid soap is more concentrated and produces its lather through hand rubbing or a standard pump. Foaming soap tends to use less product per wash, making it economical and popular for high-traffic sinks. Liquid soap delivers a slightly richer lather and is a good choice for those who prefer a more traditional hand-washing experience.

Our liquid and foaming soaps are built on a plant-derived soap base using ingredients like coconut oil and other vegetable oils, water, and glycerin. They're scented with pure essential oils or naturally derived fragrances. You won't find sulfates, synthetic detergents, parabens, or artificial dyes. Our soaps don't contain synthetic antibacterial agents like triclosan, which has been flagged by the FDA for safety concerns and banned from many consumer products. That said, all soap — natural or otherwise — works by mechanically lifting and washing away bacteria and viruses from the skin when used with adequate hand washing technique. Proper lathering and rinsing is what makes hand washing effective, not the presence of added antibacterial chemicals.

Absolutely — and we encourage it. Our liquid soaps work great as refills for any standard pump dispenser. For foaming soap, make sure your dispenser has a foaming pump head rather than a standard one, as the foaming action comes from the pump mechanism itself, not just the soap formula. Reusing dispensers is a simple way to reduce plastic waste and get more use out of beautiful soap vessels you already own.
